Our students loved learning about the many different careers represented by our Fairview families and hearing firsthand about the important work they do each day.
Career Day is such a wonderful reminder that our families aren’t just part of our school community—they are an important part of our greater community, too! We are so grateful that you took the time to share your experiences, talents, and knowledge with our students.
Thank you for helping our students dream about all the possibilities for their own futures! 🌟
We are Fairview! 💙💛
This week we’re excited to celebrate Mrs. Freeman, our Art Teacher! With 25 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Freeman loves giving our students a place to create, explore, and let their imaginations shine!
Her goal is to make the art room one of the most fun parts of every student’s week while building their creative confidence and helping them believe that there are no mistakes in art! 🖌️❤️
Outside of school, Mrs. Freeman loves spending time on the water with family and friends while enjoying the beauty of nature.
Help us show Mrs. Freeman some Fairview love and congratulate her on being our Teacher of the Week! 💙💛

We are so excited to celebrate Ms. Armstrong, Ms. Lamie, Ms. Russell, and Mrs. Walker, who were awarded grants from the Blount County Education Foundation!
These educators are always looking for new and creative ways to support our students, enhance learning, and bring meaningful opportunities into our school. We can’t wait to see their grant-funded ideas come to life at Fairview! 💙📚✨
Congratulations, ladies, and thank you for continuing to find ways to make learning even better for our students!

If you do not want your student to participate in the screening, please send a note indicating your decision and return it to your child’s teacher no later than Friday, October 2nd.

To better address the health needs of students, the State of Tennessee recommends schools provide dental screenings. Blount County Schools will be partnering with the Elgin Children’s Foundation to provide dental screenings for students in grades K-5 on Thursday, October 22nd. The screening process will involve examining each student's mouth using a flashlight, and no dental instruments will be used. The screenings will be provided free of charge and you will be notified of the results. If you prefer your child not participate in the dental screenings, please send a written note to your child’s teacher by Friday, October 2nd.

Welcome Back!!!
Fairview Parents -
We are very excited to welcome you to what will be another great school year at Fairview Elementary! There are a few important items that we want to make you aware of:
First, be on the lookout for an email titled Blount County Board of Education Returning Student Registration. This is concerning the yearly snapcode process. It is very important that this process be completed each school year. It is best if it is completed before the in person Registration Day. Please make every effort to complete/update the information using the snapcode link in the email when it comes.
Second, our in person Registration Day (all students) is scheduled for Friday, July 24th from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. We are asking that at least one parent stop by to complete the yearly registration process. Good news...the BCS School Board is once again covering the full general school donation for all students in Blount County this school year. We will give out a Fairview t-shirt to every student on the Registration Day.
Finally, 3rd-5th grade students will need to pay the yearly Chromebook fee of $25.00 (cash or check). We will be able to accept this payment on the Registration Day.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday, July 24th between 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.

We are beyond excited to announce the launch of the BCS Teacher Depot! Starting this July, we’re opening the doors to a space dedicated entirely to supporting our incredible educators.
📍 Location: William Blount 9th Grade Academy
🗓️ When: One Saturday every month
💰 Cost: ABSOLUTELY FREE!
Whether you're looking to refresh your classroom or grab some essential supplies, we’ve got you covered. Mark your calendars—we can’t wait to see you there!
